Ara New Zealand Broadcasting School radio station selection

Chris Hair, Media Director was part of an accomplished group of industry judges at the New Zealand Broadcasting school radio station presentations recently. The winning station for 2020 is Tracks-Todays Hot Country 96.1.

The presentations were excellent, the students have put in an amazing amount of work to establish gaps and opportunities within the commercial radio landscape. Very interested to see how a Country music station goes in the New Zealand landscape. The New Zealand Broadcasting School is the premier national provider of broadcast journalism, television, film, digital media, radio performance and production in New Zealand. A large majority of leading broadcasters and current television personalities qualified from the New Zealand broadcasting school.
